In 2006, Professor Andrzej Kukwa founded the Mille Medica Clinic. Thanks to his vast experience in diagnosing and treating breathing disorders during sleep, he created a center that comprehensively deals with patients with snoring and apnea.
We work based on nutritional education in both health and disease. We prepare individual nutrition plans for children and adults, bariatric patients, pregnant women, patients with IBS, Hashimoto’s, insulin resistance, food allergies and intolerances, and other diet-related diseases.

A personal system for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep and breathing disorders
A graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics, an otorhinolaryngologist specialist. Senior assistant at the Otolaryngology Department of the Czerniakowski Hospital in Warsaw. She defended her doctoral thesis with honors at the Medical University of Warsaw in 2019 on breathing disorders during sleep in young adults. She gained professional experience during internships in the USA at the Cleveland Clinic (Department of Plastic Surgery, Microsurgery Laboratory, and Head and Neck Institute), Harvard Medical School (Facial Nerve Center), and the University of Maryland School of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department). She cooperates scientifically with the Royal National Throat, Nose, and Ear Hospital in London and the National Institute of Oncology branch in Gliwice. Co-author of scientific papers, e.g., sleep-disordered breathing and laryngeal nerve stimulation. In her clinical work, she deals with oncology and head and neck reconstruction, in particular diseases and resuscitation of the facial nerve. She uses negative pressure therapy to treat chronic wounds in laryngology comprehensively. In addition, it treats snoring and sleep apnea.
Head of the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw in the Czerniakowski Hospital in Warsaw. He is a member of the European Sleep Research Society, the International Surgical Sleep Society, and the Polish Sleep Research Society. In cooperation with, e.g., Stanford Hospital and Clinics and the University of Cincinnati, he carried out scientific research on the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea in children and adults. In 2013, he founded the Healthy Sleep Foundation, which raises awareness of the importance of healthy sleep and the dangers of nighttime breathing disorders. He is a co-creator of the Clebre project, which enables a personalized approach to diagnose and treating sleep-disordered breathing.

She cooperates with the Academy of Special Education, the Department of Speech Therapy, and the Department of Speech Therapy and Voice Emission at the Institute of Applied Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw. She also conducts classes with students in the field of hygiene, voice emission, aphasia, and practices in laryngectomy. She constantly deepens her knowledge at numerous pieces of training and conferences. She actively cooperates with laryngologists, pediatricians, neurologists, and clinical psychologists.
A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the Medical University of Warsaw, she graduated with an excellent result. She has participated in many courses and training in orthodontic planning and treatment. She conducts her doctoral studies at the Orthodontics Department of the Medical University of Warsaw, Infant Jesus Clinical Hospital.
She relies on evidence-based medicine when making clinical decisions and choosing treatment techniques. She completed a prestigious internship at the Department of Orthodontics at the University Hospital in Angers, France. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications and speeches in the field of orthodontics in the country and the world, as well as one of the winners of the Warsaw International Congress for Young Scientists, in which she took second place for her research work on the assessment of mental comfort of patients treated with various types of fixed appliances. At the Laryngology Center Mille Medica, she works with specialists dealing with snoring and sleep apnea treatment. It supplies patients with intraoral devices supporting the therapy of apnea.
She is a clinical dietitian and psycho-dietitian by profession and by passion. Insulin-resistant friendly specialist with the SOIT – School Of Insulin Resistance Therapy certificate. She mainly deals with people with Hashimoto’s, PCOS, insulin resistance, infertility, intestinal disorders, and patients after bariatric surgeries with overweight, obesity, and food intolerances. She also conducts diets for pregnant and lactating women and children. She constantly improves her education by participating in numerous training courses and conferences. She works with doctors. She completed her master’s studies in Dietetics at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Clinical Nutrition at the Medical University of Warsaw, and postgraduate studies in Psychodietetics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is the author of the book DIET WITHOUT SUGAR and appears as an expert on TV and radio. For several years she was the main dietician at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of Dr. A. Sankowski, and since 2010 he has been running his own 4LINE Diet Clinic.
She obtained her Medical Diploma at the Medical University of Warsaw, Faculty of Medicine. For over 20 years, she has been dealing with diagnostics (interpretation of polysomnographic tests) and treatment of breathing disorders during sleep, with particular emphasis on obstructive apnea with CPAP air prostheses. She has extensive experience managing patients undergoing bariatric treatment with concomitant sleep apnea. She gained experience in Poland and on scholarships and internships in the USA at UCLA and CSULB universities. In the field of breathing disorders, she also obtained the title of doctor of medical sciences. She defended her doctoral thesis: “Breathing disorders during sleep in adults, including the impact of weight reduction on polysomnographic examination indicators.”
Member of the European Respiratory Society is active in the respiratory disorders section. She has been cooperating with the Otolaryngology Department of the Czerniakowski Hospital for many years.
