Clebre S.A. implements a project entitled "Wireless sensor and telemedicine system for diagnosing breathing disorders during sleep."

Breathing disorders during sleep (ZOPS) in the form of snoring and apnea are substantial clinical and social problems. In highly developed countries, together with the aging population and the epidemic of obesity, the number of people at risk of ZOPS is dramatically increasing. Among people

About 30% of adults have problems with chronic snoring. Nearly 10% of people have sleep apnea syndrome. In Poland, at least 85% of these people remain undiagnosed, although the consequences of untreated apnea are: an increased risk of hypertension, arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes. ZOPS also negatively impacts the day, increasing the risk of accidents and accidents at work. The aThe availability of polysomnography, which is the gold standard in diagnosing PE, is limited due to the high cost of testing. The CLEBRE solution responds to this need. This means implementing new solutions to simplify and reducing the cost of CDS diagnostics.

The project aims to create an ergonomic wireless set of sensors that collect and analyze breathing sounds, body position, and physical activity during sleep without affecting the comfort and physiology of sleep. The system analyzes data online without constantly connecting to a smartphone via communication protocols.

CLEBRE will provide a cheap and widely available diagnostic solution for patients and medical facilities that can detect apnea and snoring and monitor the respiratory tract at home with high accuracy, using a wireless sensor placed conveniently. The innovative CLEBRE solution will completely change the course of diagnosis, enabling multi-night registrations, disease control over time, and the effects of therapy. CLEBRE will also be an excellent tool for conducting extensive cohort studies examining the impact of ZOPS on other conditions.

The project is implemented under Measure 1.1 R&D projects of enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises, co-financed by the European Union under Priority Axis I: Support for R&D results by enterprises of the Smart Growth Operational Program 2014 – 2020.
